  • who i am, where i’ve been, what i’ve learned along the way
  • going back and reading old journal entries and realizing how much i’ve grown up
  • when i had mono, it was the mildest version i’ve ever known anyone to have
  • ritas, carmens, ice cream days
  • strawberry margarita flavored ice debuts tomorrow at rita’s
  • MD Day 09 is done. all the craziness that goes along with it too
  • a much better fball game overall last week although i wish i played better
  • pens beat out the flyers
  • sleep, catching up on it, many naps
  • dates with old loves
  • a new photoshoot to add to my portfolio
  • everyone supporting me doing the photoshoot and laughing along with it
  • allergy medicines, tissues, water
  • the little piles of pollen on the ground after the rain, they amuse me

  • weekends full of sports
  • running outside around campus
  • warm weather, so that i can enjoy being outside
  • allergy medicine. boxES of tissues. rain.
  • birthdays. esp when all the pside kiddos are all there like old times. i miss last summer.
  • getting to know my fball team doing what i do best, lazying around bars.
  • crucial naps.
  • good seats that were still avail for the pens/flyers game
  • josh, for spontaneously going to philly with me
  • my penguins! for winning round 1 🙂
  • m.chan for my pens tshirt!
  • nice philly fans who befriend us
  • making friends with random pens fans
  • cold beer on warm, sunny afternoons
  • going to watch sports live, b/c it makes everything that much better
  • the parentals who drove all the way to bmore to save me b/c i locked my keys in the car and was about to go to the O’s game. and they waited til the game ended to give them to me 🙂
  • smoothies. delicious. healthy. goodness.
  • a much better week 2 of ssb.
  • projects finishing at work. a nice return to normal work. hurrah for being able to breathe.

  • the awesome digital clock on the track. i can now track how fast i run and how many laps i run based on how fast. aka when i lose count of how many laps i’ve run i can calculate it based on time.
  • cold water after a workout
  • lapping people on the track
  • stretching after a good run
  • pushing myself the extra half mile after my run
  • fact: when i go to the gym after work i both get a good workout and miss a lot of crazy traffic. win-win.
  • sitting outside on a gorgeous day
  • drinking a cold beer on a gorgeous afternoon
  • happy hours. not the crazy crazy like nighttime, but a great time to sit around with friends and chat.
  • seeing old loves last week
  • fact: my boss and designer coworkers are absolutely awesome. they are so innovative, conceptual and inspiring, i can’t learn enough from them. oh, and we look out for each other superbly
  • kooky, nutty, crapola. and all other purely maryland attributes
  • medical tape and splints. i think they’re pretty much my bffs.
  • going to drama practice and really enjoying it. i love/missed my kids and scurrying people along.
  • knitting. it can be very frustrating, but i love having a tangible product.
  • nice afternoon walks across campus.
  • all the exciting new ideas that UR will soon encounter
  • home-ice advantage. and playing a really sweet game yesterday.
  • carcillo’s one-game suspension. anything that helps us win another game.
  • all of the love REM pours out upon me.
  • singing. music. lily allen. crappy pop songs. the once soundtrack.
  • real talks with real friends. i love when angela pops online for a break and we have a nice chat
  • girl friends. girls nights. people to hang out with.
  • my darling cousin and the fact that she lives so close to me now. i like that i finally have family who live nearby.

  • life. mine is relatively awesome. i have so much for which i am thankful.
  • caringbridge. it has brought so many people together for so many causes
  • people that i love and who love me
  • people understanding of crazy situations
  • real and/or serious talks with good friends.
  • being absolutely silly sometimes
  • downtime.
  • making tangible things for a living and for fun
  • today’s design retreat. taking a step back to look at our unit was really helpful
  • all the foodie places i’ve eaten at recently. i’m so lucky to be able to afford and appreciate such luxuries.
  • my fav bartenders. b/c they make my bar experience that much better.
  • my pens who clinched a playoff spot although people doubted early in the season that the would.

  • why hello, 23 years of life
  • rain storms. i love them. its nice to sit, watch and smell them. from the garage
  • running. forever. and the extra half mile after my run, which is both the best and worst feeling in the world.
  • frontline last week. despite the fact that everyone either cancelled on me or didn’t have their phone, i still went and it was a strange release of emotions. and sleeping.
  • my daddy. happy birthday, daddy 🙂
  • going out for really nice dinners with my fam. showing them what good food tastes like and showing them that there’s more to life than ihop and hollywood diner
  • my girls. who after a long day, i can talk to at the gathering and be real.
  • the weird turn of events that led me to go to both mclean events.
  • seeing all my friends out for my bday. all the messages, voicemails, love. i have the best friends ever.
  • anthony. ummmm i miss him. ethan is nice, but he doesn’t know me like he should
  • seeing random friends i haven’t seen in forev come out to see me.
  • my bed. sleep. lazying around. it is so good to rest sometimes
  • finally meeting my fball team even if none of our practices or games came through. and i appreciated not having to exert energy on an early saturday morning.
  • gorgeous weather amidst the storms. i love the extremes.
  • my sg girls. even if i don’t appreciate or love them as much as i should, they still make me so proud.
  • my cbc girls in gen. i really enjoy the long talks with them lately. its nice to know i have people i can trust.
